Staff Selection Commission or SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level – SSC CGL exam every year for recruitment to non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non gazetted posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India.

The examination is conducted in four phases. Each Tier is supposed to be cleared by a candidate to get a job in the commission.

Tier Type Mode
Tier – I Objective Multiple Choice Computer Based (online)
Tier – II Objective Multiple Choice Computer Based (online)
Tier – III Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi Pen and Paper mode
Tier – IV Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test Wherever Applicable

Group B: Rs.9300-34800/-+ grade pay
Group C: Rs.5200-20200/-+ grade pay

Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.

Application fee

General / OBC Rs.100/-.
SC / ST / PH No Fees.

Application Begin 05/05/2018.
Last Date for Apply Online 04/06/2018 up to 05:00 PM.
Last Date for Payment of Application fees 05/06/2018.
Date of Tier I Exam 25/07/2018 to 20/08/2018.
Date of Tier II & III Exam 27/11/2018 to 30/11/2018.
